Hey everyone! Great news! The technical issue preventing us from putting any new products as been fixed! Now we will be adding tons of great new (and old!) Lego sets! We’ll be putting on many new Lego sets from Lego themes such as Ninjago, Hero Factory, and City! So be on the lookout in the Lego Sets section for tons of cool Lego products being added to our selection! And yes, that picture of the Lego Ninjago Lloyd ZX Spinner is one of the new products we’re adding!

Happy 80th birthday, Lego! Yes, today on August 10th, 2012, the Lego Company turns 80 years old. Founded in 1932 by Ole Kirk Christiansen, the Lego comapny has gone on for over 80 years. The Lego company started as a wood-working shop in Billund, Denmark, but is now the 3rd largest toy manufacturer in the world. From the first Lego brick to the newest Lego theme, it’s been a great 80 years of building for Lego. To celebrate this occasion, we’ll be adding tons more fun content, and as soon as we can start adding sets you can buy to our selection, (we can’t right now due to technical issues) we’ll add lots of cool new sets from Lego themes like City, Ninjago, and Hero Factory! So once again, happy birthday Lego!

Great news! We have just added 2 new games, the old Lego Dino Attack game and the Lego Pharaoh’s Quest Curse of the Pharaoh game to the Games section… which means we now have a total of FIFTY LEGO GAMES! What will we do to celebrate? Add even MORE fun Lego games, of course! So go and check out all 50 of the Lego games section, and check back later for more games! This year, Lego has released several new and exciting themes, many of which will have their products put here on ToyBrixandBlox.com soon! Here are the new themes for 2012:

• Lego Friends: This new Lego theme is made especially for girls, and centers around 6 main girl characters, and their city, Heartlake City. The theme features several new Lego brick colors, new mini-doll figures, and many new Lego parts and accessories.
• Lego DC Universe Superheroes: This new Lego theme is based around the comics and movies about the DC Universe heroes and villains, such as Batman, Superman, and the Joker. The theme also has a few ultrabuild action figures, which use the Lego Hero Factory building system.
• Lego Marvel Superheroes: This new Lego theme is based around the comics and movies about the Marvel superheroes and villains, such as Spiderman, the Hulk, and other superheroes and villains. This theme, like the DC Universe Superheroes theme, has a few ultrabuild action figures, also using the Lego Hero Factory building system.
• Lego the Lord of the Rings: This new Lego theme is based around the three Lord of the Rings movies, as well as the upcoming Hobbit movie.
• Lego Monster Fighters: This original Lego theme is the first of its kind, being the first Lego theme to center around monsters. The storyline is that the evil Lord Vampyre is planning to eclipse the sun forever using 6 moonstones, and the Lego Monster Fighters have to prevent him and all the other monsters from collecting the moonstones. The theme features many glow-in-the-dark parts, as well as many cool functions on the models, such as a hidden stairs or the moonstone device.
• Lego Dino: This Lego theme centers around several heroes trying to prevent rampaging dinosaurs from escaping to the city and causing havoc. The theme features large dino figures and big and small vehicles and a command base to capture the dinos and prevent them from getting to the city.

The ninja have returned! Prepare to spinjitzu to the extreme, because the next season of the Lego Ninjago TV series starts July 18th, 2012… tomorrow! The four masters of spinjitzu, Kai, Jay, Cole, and Zane, have all unlocked their full potential, and have mastered their Spinjitzu powers! They have discovered the Green Ninja’s identity, defeated the Great Devourer, and saved the world of Ninjago again! As the ninja trained the destined Green Ninja, Lloyd Garmadon, will they be able to defeat the evil Lord Garmadon, who now possesses the four Golden Weapons of Spinjitzu, causing them to lose most of their elemental powers? Can they overcome the four united Serpentine tribes, and will they be able to train Lloyd? And will they be able to save the land of Ninjago once more? Find out in season 3 of the Lego Ninajgo TV series, starting July 18th, 2012, at 8/7 central on Cartoon Network! (NOTE: The Lego Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu movie, which was divided into 4 parts, is often considered season 1, causing the 13 previous episodes in the TV series to be the second season, and this season to be the third)

Attention, all Lego fans! It has recently been confirmed that Lego has partnered with the game developer, Funcom, to produce a new Lego MMOG based around the Lego Minifigures collectible series! Although Lego’s first attempt at an MMOG, Lego Universe, was shut down due to lack of profit, Funcom still sees opportunity in Lego MMOG’s, and has partnered with Lego to create one. This is a good opportunity to release a Lego Minifigures MMOG, as the 35th anniversary of the Lego minifigure is in 2013. Little is known about the game, as it is still in early development. It is said the new MMOG will be released sometime in 2013, though that is currently not fully confirmed. Updates on when and if Beta will be released, the storyline, and other information as soon as it is confirmed.
